What is Art?Art is
the flow of words in a story.   the outburst of colors in a painting.   the melody of music.
Art is also   the pattern on a coat of fur.   the medley of sounds as you   walk down the street.   the rhythm of the raindrops   pitter-pattering on the concrete.   the fluid motions of a dancer   moving gracefully to the rhythm.   the cricket’s chirping in the dead of night

“This is going to be the best day of my life!”
That’s what Janice was thinking to herself as she put the finishing touches on her makeup. She glanced at the clock that hung above her desk and groaned when she saw it was only 7:30. Why wasn’t it 8:00 yet?!

At 8:00, Adam was going to pick her up and take her to this year’s winter dance. She smiled at the thought. By 8:30, she was going to be dancing with her long-time crush.
